Apex Scotland is a national organisation that helps offenders, ex–offenders, young people at risk of offending and people in recovery from addictions to take the steps that will move them closer towards getting a job, voluntary placement or enrolling in a course at the local college.
Apex Highland offer a number of programmes that will provide the necessary skills and experience required in the work place. Such as, basic adult literacy, interviewing/telephone techniques, writing letters, filling in application forms, producing a C.V., self–confidence, teamwork, being able to get on with people in authority, CSCS training, Rehab and Disclosure and a job search group.
We also provide other services like auricular acupuncture, SMART Recovery, Heartstart training, outdoor projects and some other specialist groups like employer visits, placements, work based training courses, food hygiene and manual handling.
