<h1>Venture Trust Next Steps - Stage 1 - 2</h1>

<p><h3>What do we offer at Stage 1-2?</h3>

<p>At this stage we offer our Next Steps programme.&nbsp; This programme is designed to work with partner agencies and the women they support&nbsp;who are&nbsp;caught up in&nbsp;a cycle of offending, or are dealing with issues such as drug/alcohol misuse, homelessness, domestic abuse or any other issues that might impede positive change in their lives.</p>

<p>The programme utilisises&nbsp;the wilderness to deliver an experiential learning opportunity that supports the development of transferable core lifeskills&nbsp;as&nbsp;you journey towards building a positive future. It also focuses on challenging personal and social development.</p>

<h3>Who can apply?</h3>

<p>This programme is available to women and partner agencies who have been caught up in a cycle of offending behaviour or who are dealing with drug/alcohol misuse, homelessness, domestic abuse or any other issues that might impede positive change in their lives. It is available Highland-wide and is available to anyone aged 16+.</p>

<h3>What can you achieve?</h3>

<div>You will receive a Certificate of Achievement on successful completion of the programme.<br />
As part of the programme you will create a personalised action plan.&nbsp; This can be developed further once you return to the community. You could receive on-going support for up to 12 months to enable you&nbsp;to consolidate&nbsp;your new skills, boost confidence, motivation and aspirations, and reach out to other local opportunities such as volunteering, education, employment and training.</div>

<div>A detailed report on your experience can be made available for statutory &amp; third sector partners which can be utilised as a character reference.</div>

<h3>Can I get a training allowance?</h3>

<p>The Next Steps programme is free to all participants.&nbsp; We will supply you with&nbsp;outdoor clothing and kit for the programme.&nbsp;All meals will be provided.&nbsp; If you are in receipt of DWP benefits these will not be affected by attendance on this programme.</p>
