<h1>NHS Highland&#58; Learning Disability Additional Support Team</h1>

<p><p>
	The Additional Support Team is a multi-disciplinary team comprising of a psychologist and three learning disability nurses.</p>
<p>
	We offer specialist services for people with learning disabilities and challenging behaviour living in the Highland Health and Social Care Partnership area.</p>
<p>
	The team operates within the framework of Applied Behaviour Analysis, aiming to provide functionally based interventions that are non-aversive in nature.</p>
<p>
	We work in conjunction with existing support services that the person receives including</p>
<ul>
	<li>
		families</li>
	<li>
		social care providers</li>
	<li>
		community learning disability nursing</li>
	<li>
		occupational therapists</li>
	<li>
		psychologists</li>
	<li>
		psychiatry and</li>
	<li>
		speech;/ and</li>
	<li>
		language therapists.&nbsp;</li>
