Abriachan Forest Trust – works with a wide variety of groups and individuals, from children to adults, using the Forest School ethos. This can be one visit for a 1:1 session of bushcraft, mountain biking, orienteering, treasure hunts, green woodworking, conservation fun or a block of visits where the activities will be tailored to suit the participants, support their interests, build their confidence and develop their skills.
Most of the time will be spent outdoors, but we can also use the classroom to review and follow up using computers, cameras, books and also offer lots of crafts and woodworking resources in our inspiring shelters.
When appropriate the John Muir, Youth Achievement, Go-mountain bike or Millennium Volunteer Awards, Skills for Work or Personal Development qualifications can be achieved.
The team at Abriachan have wide ranging skills; they are always supportive and enthusiastic encouragers.
